Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Nottingham is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross-functional product development for innovative thermal transfer solutions. You will oversee projects from concept to launch in a global market, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires a engineering background, strong PM skills, and experience with complex electro-mechanical products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with related work experience.
• Proven project or program management experience in an industrial equipment market sector.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Leadership, results-driven mindset and conflict resolution experience.
• Experience with Project Management tools (MS Project, JIRA) and formal PM qualification (PMP/Prince2) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical solutions to ensure products are ready for manufacture and sale per priorities, quality, timelines and cost objectives.
• Lead business case definition and validate project specs with stakeholders before design.
• Manage projects through all development phases: specification, design, integration, verification, qualification, trials and launch.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; escalate issues as needed.
• Provide strong leadership to align cross-functional teams and optimize schedule and budget.
• Support global project governance with the Global Manager for Program Management.
