Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Modernisation Programme Manager to join the team on a full-time, two-year fixed-term basis. This role is remote with regular travel.

As the Modernisation Programme Manager, you will play a key role in driving and delivering the Campus Modernisation Programme across the UK region.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills, be qualified, and have a proven background in the building industry for delivering a range of high-value, multi-disciplinary projects against strategic objectives.

Your leadership style and relationship-building skills will enhance project governance and productivity, while fostering innovative thinking and continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
  • Plan, schedule, and lead multiple construction projects across the UK.
  • Manage project lifecycles from conception to completion, ensuring timeliness and budget adherence.
  • Implement structured project methodologies and governance, including agile change management.
Compliance & Risk
  • Ensure all projects comply with UK regulations and laws.
  • Maintain quality control and continuous improvement processes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks proactively.
Cost Control
  • Monitor and manage project expenses against budgets.
  • Analyse cost variations and implement corrective actions.
