The Program Director provides leadership and direction for all aspects of a strategic program and implementation to achieve the target outcomes. This requires working closely with GE Vernova customers to understand and define high-level scope, project plans, and resourcing at all stages of a project or program lifecycle.

Essential Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Be responsible for delivering multiple projects on time and within budget, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Report on project progress to the leadership of GE Vernova.
- Lead the GEV team and subcontractors toward customer success.
- Understand and advocate for the customer's business strategies, review accounts, meet with customers, and coach peers on the value of GE solutions.
- Identify and articulate critical success factors for customer acquisition, implementation, and utilization of solutions; assist in overcoming delays; propose creative solutions; and ensure customer success.
- Mentor others on best practices for project delivery and focus on tangible and intangible benefits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Technical Expertise
- Experience with high-tech software companies preferred.
- Experience communicating with CxO level and developing customer relationships.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-paced environment.
- Track record of developing new opportunities.
- Experience in software analysis, design, quality assurance, methodologies, and architecture.
- Ability to understand new software development practices, languages, and tools.
- Business acumen to evaluate scope changes from schedule, ROI, and TCO perspectives.
- Formal project management certification is desirable.
- Experience with electrical utilities is preferred.
Qualifications / Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated project management role overseeing large-scale IT projects.
- Preferably 10+ years in industrial software services or product development.
- Willingness to travel.

- Proactive engagement with customers to establish core project management elements such as project charter, plan, budget forecasts, change management, and governance.
- Ability to interact with governance committees and escalate issues appropriately.

- Engage throughout the project lifecycle, influencing decisions on architecture, design, and functionality.
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, supporting pre-sale, consulting, and execution efforts.
- Apply GE Vernova's project execution methodology and standards.
