Job summary

The University of Liverpool invites applications for a Professor of Maritime Energy Engineering within the Civil and Environmental Engineering department to drive research and partnerships in maritime energy, net zero and resilient infrastructure.

You will lead an interdisciplinary agenda, contribute to research-led teaching, and foster collaborations with industry and external partners, including the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Net Zero Maritime Energy Solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a research agenda in maritime energy engineering and contribute to research-led undergraduate and postgraduate education.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with industry and other stakeholders to advance net zero and resilient maritime infrastructure.
• Collaborate across the Department, School and wider University, and with external training programmes such as the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Net Zero Maritime Energy Solutions.
