Professional Support Lawyer

A Professional Support Lawyer is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is an award-winning, international law firm with an enviable reputation in the market. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated Professional Support Lawyer. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of their legal services across the areas of Insurance, Health, and Public Bodies.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the legal teams by providing expert knowledge management, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and delivering training and development programs. You will be an integral part of the team, ensuring that their lawyers have access to the latest legal insights and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge Management: Develop, maintain, and update the firm's legal precedents, practice notes, and templates to ensure teams have access to the most current and comprehensive legal resources.
2. Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on complex issues, staying abreast of legal developments, trends, and changes in legislation. Provide concise and accurate legal opinions to support case strategies.
3. Document Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and update legal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with legal standards. Assist in the preparation of client-facing materials.
4. Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and seminars for lawyers and support staff.
5. Client Support: Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitches, and proposals.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with partners, associates, and other legal professionals to support the firm’s practice groups. Contribute to cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
