Job summary

Air IT is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to deliver IT infrastructure, cloud and migration projects for SME clients in Central London. The role involves three days per week onsite at a customer location and two days remote, with hybrid working arrangements.

You will lead and support successful delivery of technical projects, including migrations, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, and collaboration with PMO and architects to design customer solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT infrastructure delivery and migrations.
• Azure IaaS admin, networking and storage.
• Azure AD/Entra ID and AD DS knowledge.
• Intune deployment and management.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Windows Server administration and AD roles.
• Exchange Online and on-prem migrations.
• SharePoint Online deployment and migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support delivery of IT infrastructure projects.
• Migrate and refresh IT infrastructure for clients.
• Configure servers, networks, firewalls, and core IT infra.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 projects including Entra ID, Intune, and cloud migrations.
• Collaborate with PMO to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Work with Solutions Architects to implement customer solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate project records in CRM.

At Air IT, we're looking for a Professional Services Engineer to join our high-performing Professional Services team. You'll play a key role in delivering infrastructure, cloud, and migration projects for our customers, ensuring exceptional outcomes and a seamless experience from start to finish.

This role will involve working onsite three days per week at a customer location in Central London, alongside hybrid working arrangements.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Professional Services Engineer, you'll lead and support the successful delivery of technical projects, including:

• Delivering IT system migrations and infrastructure refresh projects for SME organisations
• Deploying and configuring servers, networks, firewalls, and core IT infrastructure
• Delivering Microsoft 365 projects, including Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, and cloud migrations
• Collaborating closely with our Project Management Office to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
• Working alongside Solutions Consultants and Technical Architects to design and implement customer solutions
• Providing detailed project handovers to our Service Desk teams
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures
• Maintaining accurate project records within our CRM systems

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced technical professional with a proven background in IT project delivery and customer-facing environments.

Essential Technical Experience

• Hands-on experience delivering IT infrastructure and migration projects
• Microsoft Azure IaaS administration, provisioning, networking, and storage
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory Domain Services
• Microsoft Intune deployment and management (MDM/MAM)
• VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualisation technologies
• Microsoft Windows Server administration (ADDS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, NPS, DFS)
• Exchange Online and on-premises Exchange migrations
• SharePoint Online deployment and migration projects
• SonicWall
• HP Aruba
• Experience across LAN and multi-VLAN network environments
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions such as Datto, Veeam, StorageCraft, or Altaro
• Experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
