Job summary

Mears Group in Tower Hamlets is seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to carry out internal painting and decorating across residential properties, supporting damp and mould and reactive maintenance tasks. This hands-on role requires precision and a strong eye for detail.

• Proven experience in painting and decorating, including wallpapering.
• Experience with damp and mould treatments is required.
• Ability to work at height and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint internal surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork.
• Apply emulsion, gloss and specialist finishes with precision.
• Wallpaper and decorative detailing where required.
• Carry out external painting at height using ladders.
• Maintain tools, equipment and vehicle to a high standard.
• Communicate professionally with tenants, clients and colleagues.
• Complete job records accurately and on time.
