Job Description:

A leading national law firm, renowned for its expertise in insurance litigation, is seeking a Senior Solicitor to join its expanding Professional Indemnity team in Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-value, complex claims for a broad range of professionals and insurers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied caseload of professional indemnity matters, acting for legal, construction, financial and insurance sector clients
• Handle claims ranging from negligence and breach of duty to coverage disputes and policy issues
• Provide strategic advice to clients and insurers at all stages of claims, from pre-action to litigation
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting the continued growth of the team
• Actively contribute to client relationship management and business development initiatives

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 6+ years' PQE, ideally gained in a recognised insurance or commercial disputes practice
• Strong background in professional indemnity defence work, particularly in claims against lawyers, construction professionals or financial services firms
• Excellent technical, analytical and negotiation skills
• A proactive, commercially-minded approach with a passion for client service
• A strong team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues
