Role Summary

You will support the team on their wholesale business. This is a busy environment where you will be dealing with a wide range of clients and producers and looking at their insurance requirements.

Role Accountabilities

You will be accountable for assisting the producing brokers with endorsements, amendments, and closings into the Lloyd’s and Company markets.
You will be accountable for broker backup duties to the team which will include the production of endorsements, technical documentation, and MRC slips.
You will be accountable for maintaining broker and client files.
To negotiate the finest possible terms and conditions for our clients, using appropriate knowledge, expertise, and market presence for the desired cover.
Working with colleagues to ensure that all new and renewal business, mid-term amendments, and general enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
Develop strong and long-term relationships with clients and markets, always looking at ways to improve this relationship.
Usage of departmental mandatory documentation such as market sheets and checklists and adherence to departmental procedures.
Any additional duties as assigned.

Role Requirements

Experience dealing with risk placements will enable you to oversee the administration
Ideally 5 years insurance experience in a similar role

Skills and Abilities

You will be a knowledgeable user of Microsoft Office suite.
Aptitude to work under pressure to tight time frames.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills and can build and maintain professional relationships, including being able to maintain contact with clients and Underwriters.
