Job summary

The Royal Borough of Greenwich seeks an experienced Professional Educator in Children and Families Social Care to strengthen practice and develop the workforce.

This part-time role (21 hours per week) involves training, coaching and supervising social workers, Emerging Professionals and students, and leading the Early Career Framework.

You will design engaging learning, translate guidance into practice, and work with leaders to embed quality assurance across services.

Qualifications

• Training social workers and leaders across Children's Social Care.
• Providing supervision and support to Early Career Practitioners and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs).
• Leading and developing the Early Career Framework to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
• Supporting student social workers and promoting excellent practice placements.
• Identifying learning needs and practice development opportunities through QA and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and support social workers and leaders across Children’s Social Care.
• Supervise Early Career Practitioners and NQSWs throughout ASYE.
• Lead the Early Career Framework to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
• Support student placements and promote excellent practice.
• Identify learning needs via quality assurance and practitioner feedback.
