Job summary

Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a part-time Professional Educator in Children and Families Social Care to support workforce development and learning for practitioners.

You will train, coach and supervise social workers, Early Career Practitioners and Newly Qualified Social Workers, and help embed the Early Career Framework with reflective learning, quality assurance and high standards of practice across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering professional development for social care workers.
• Ability to translate guidance into learning opportunities.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Training, coaching and supporting social workers and leaders across Children's Social Care.
• Providing supervision and support to Early Career Practitioners and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) throughout their ASYE.
• Leading and developing the Early Career Framework to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
• Supporting student social workers and promoting excellent practice placements.
• Identifying learning needs and practice development opportunities through quality assurance and feedback from practitioners.
• Translating research, legislation and guidance into meaningful learning that strengthens practice.
• Working alongside leaders and practitioners to drive continuous improvement and embed best practice across the service.
• Designing and delivering engaging learning opportunities, workshops and reflective spaces that encourage curiosity, confidence and professional growth.
