Salary: £30 - £35 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Further Education college in Cardiff to recruit a Health and Social Care Lecturer. The college supports learners aged 16+ and is looking for an experienced and engaging lecturer who can create a positive learning environment for students of varying abilities.

The college is looking to take on a Health and Social Care Lecturer on a part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Health and Social Care Lecturer will deliver both Health and Social Care and Childcare, supporting lower ability learners and using effective classroom and behaviour management strategies when working with students who may display challenging behaviour.

The successful Health and Social Care Lecturer will have:

• Experience teaching Health and Social Care within an FE setting
• Experience teaching Childcare within an FE setting
• Experience teaching and engaging lower ability learners aged 16+
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to confidently support learners who display challenging behaviour
• A positive, adaptable and engaging approach to teaching
