Job summary

Our client in Runcorn is seeking a reliable Production/FLT Operative to join their team on a Monday–Friday 08:00–16:00 shift. The role offers £13.50 per hour on a temporary ongoing basis with duties including operating production machines and FLTs, adhering to procedures and quality checks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Applicants must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence; Reach is a bonus. Strong communication and process-following abilities are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Reach licence is preferable.

Our client, a market leader within their field with over 100 years of experience, are currently seeking an experienced Production/FLT Operative to join their team based in Runcorn.

Duties of a Production/FLT Operative:

• Manufacture products to a high standard of quality.
• Follow production procedures and safety guidelines, prioritising strict Health and Safety.
• Check and report any quality issues or shortages to the relevant manager.
• Operate Production Machines and FLT’s safely in accordance with company processes.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, tidy and well maintained.
• Support continuous improvement within the production team.
• Complete relevant checks and records as required.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture within the team.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Production Manager or Shift Manager.

Requirements of a Production/FLT Operative:

• Valid, in date FLT Licence (Counterbalance is essential & Reach is preferable.
• Ability to follow processes.
