Job summary

212 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Welder in Burntwood to support our client’s fabrication team. You’ll operate pillar drills, band saws and welding equipment to produce metal components and ensure quality at every stage.

The role requires ability to read basic technical drawings, a focus on safety and a willingness to contribute to a clean, efficient workshop. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Experience using pillar drills, band saws, welding machinery and other workshop tools.
  • Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings.
  • TIG/MIG Welding experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Operating pillar drills, band saws, grinders and other production equipment
  • Cutting, drilling and preparing metal components for assembly
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure all products meet specification
  • Supporting wider production tasks as required

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced Production Welder to join our well establsiated client's team based in Burntwood.

You’ll be involved in the day‑to‑day fabrication of metal components, working with a range of workshop machinery and tools to produce high‑quality finished products.

Experience Required:
  • Experience using pillar drills, band saws, welding machinery and other workshop tools
  • Confident working with metal fabrication tools
  • Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings
  • TIG/MIG Welding experience would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating pillar drills, band saws, grinders and other production equipment
  • Cutting, drilling and preparing metal components for assembly

  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure all products meet specification

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00
