Job summary

Frylite Ltd. in Northern Ireland is seeking a General Operative to support our production line. You will wash dolavs, load and unload curtains, operate industrial baths, and assist with loading tankers while maintaining high safety and hygiene standards.

The role requires at least 1 year in a production environment, knowledge of Health & Safety and manual handling, and flexibility to cover other Production Teams when needed. A forklift license is preferred; random drug testing applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a production environment.
• Health, safety and manual handling knowledge.
• Willingness to cover other Production Teams as needed.

Responsibilities

• Washing dolav’s, loading & unloading curtains, operating industrial baths, loading tankers, shunting curtains/tankers.
• Forklift duties (if licensed) and correct handling and storage of UCO.
• Maintain production areas and meet daily & weekly targets.
• Report weekly production output sheets to the UCO Production Manager and communicate effectively.

• General Operative Duties: Washing dolav’s, loading & unloading curtains, operating industrial baths, loading tankers, shunting curtains/tankers, forklift duties(if forklift license in place), ensuring the correct handling and storage of UCO, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of the production areas, meeting daily & weekly targets.
• Reporting weekly production output sheets to the UCO Production Manager and communicating effectively with the UCO Production Manager.
• Follow all safety protocols to the highest of standards, ensuring full health and safety procedures and HACCP rules are adhered to including all food safety protocols.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a production environment
• Health & Safety and manual handling knowledge
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility to cover other Production Teams when operationally required.
• Team player and ability to communicate effectively
• Motivated and open to learning and developing within the role.
