Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Stevenage is seeking a Production Test Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role involves supporting design through Production Readiness Review and release to Operations, with a focus on test specifications and documented instructions.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 4 (HNC) in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and have experience testing to component level, including RF/Microwave knowledge and both digital and analogue testing.

Qualifications

• Level 4 (HNC) in Electronic/Electrical Engineering with modules for Electronic Principles or Electrical Principles
• Experience in test engineering in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Strong understanding of digital and analogue measurement and fault diagnosis
• Awareness of electrical/electronic sub-system design, integration and test principles
• Generation of test specifications, operator instructions and technical reports
• Knowledge of RF and Microwave technology at subsystem level
• Experience operating manual and automated test equipment in Electronics Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Provide Test Engineering support during concept to Production Readiness Review
• Support Test Facility introduction and configuration control
• Assist testing of electrical/electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards down to component level
• Collaborate with Operations and design teams to overcome technical challenges
• Work with Engineering Manager to compile initial process flows for new product
• Support Process FMEA and establish test mitigations
• Initialise test fixture designs for new product
• Assist design engineers with functional & ESS testing of initial prototypes
