Energy Jobline ZR seeks an experienced RF Product Engineer for a 6-month assignment. You will work with the wider organisation and partners to ensure hardware delivery and validation evidence within time, cost, and quality constraints.

The role involves defining equipment requirements, cascading them through the supply chain, and planning verification activities to demonstrate compliance with standards. Strong RF/electronic systems knowledge and collaboration with Design Authority are essential.

Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced RF Product Engineer to join our client on a 6 -month assignment. As the RF Product Engineer, you will work with the wider organisation and industrial partners to ensure delivery of configured hardware and validation evidence whilst ensuring time, cost and quality constraints are adhered to.

Role: RF Product Engineer Pay: £50 - £80 per hour via Umbrella Location: Stevenage or Bristol Contract: 6 Months Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week Security Clearance: Security Clearance required however can start on BPSS, UK eyes only project

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and definition of equipment requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and design specifications.
• Ensure requirements are effectively cascaded and flowed down through the supply chain, including internal teams and external suppliers.
• Define and specify the technical evidence required to demonstrate that equipment meets the required standards and specifications.
• Plan, coordinate and review testing and analysis activities to verify equipment performance and compliance with requirements.
• Maintain the safety, security and integrity of equipment throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Work closely with Design Leads, Chief Design Engineers and key stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Monitor and manage requirements throughout the development process, ensuring traceability and appropriate verification and validation.
• Ensure equipment meets all relevant technical, safety and quality standards before delivery to customers.

Skillset/experience required

• A strong understanding of RF and electronic systems, ideally ES and EA systems.
• Ability to specify clear and accurate requirements onto design teams (internal or external).
• Experience of working closely with a Design Authority and the Customer community to develop the solution, including the management of technical trades.
• Management of the technical status and progression of assigned work packages.
• Working with a project team to define the verification and validation strategies, and agreement of key functional & performance tests.
• Management of a supplier's performance, and the adherence to cost, schedule and technical requirements.
• Ability to exchange, communicate and explain technical information between various internal and external stakeholders.
