Pertemps Bristol Industrial is recruiting for a Test Engineer – Production Support to join our manufacturing and test teams. You will provide technical support across production testing, investigate failures and help improve test processes in a busy electronics environment.

The role requires a degree in engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years in testing (5+ preferred). Strong fault-finding, diagnostic skills and experience with test equipment are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• A degree-level qualification, or equivalent experience, in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in testing or development, with 5+ years preferred.
• Experience supporting electronic testing in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to interpret test standards and customer requirements.
• Hands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems and soldering.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support for electronic production testing and test equipment.
• Develop test methods and procedures to support production activities.
• Train technicians in correct use of test equipment and procedures.
• Investigate failed or fatigued components and perform root cause analysis.
• Produce detailed technical test reports and communicate findings to teams.
• Support ongoing development and improvement of production test processes.
• Liaise with internal departments, customers and external test facilities as required.
