• Ensure faults are accurately reported.
• Carry out fault diagnosis to component level.
• Support test time reduction through continuous improvement.
• Investigate and analyse problems and provide solutions.

Skills

Experience in testing and commissioning special purpose machinery

Strong electrical background

Ability to carry out tasks with minimum supervision

Understanding of quality and health and safety implications

Fault diagnosis to component level

Education

Time served Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent

City and Guilds part 3

Qualified to HND, HNC or BTech level 3
