Job summary

Baxter's Oxford site is hiring Production Technicians for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) follows rotating shifts from 7:00am-3:00pm and 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You will work in a controlled cleanroom to manufacture high-quality medical products and gain comprehensive training. Ideal candidates have pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, familiarity with GMP/GDP, and comfort using Windows systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry.
• Background in a cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques or holding a current Aseptic Operator Qualification.
• Understanding of GMP and GDP.
• Confidence using Windows-based computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems
• Collaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products
• Meet tight production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance
• Carry out environmental monitoring activities
• Perform routine quality checks throughout the compounding process
• Accurately complete and manage production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices
• Support various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join Baxter's Oxford site as Production Technicians. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in the pharmaceutical industry, with full training provided.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract with a potential to be made permanent. This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 7:00am - 3:00pm and 10:00am - 6:00pm (Monday to Friday).
