Job summary

Baxter in Oxford is seeking a Production Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers training and the chance to contribute to the production and inspection of compounded medicines that impact patients' lives.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (7:00am–3:00pm and 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday). A salary of £27,000 plus a weekly shift allowance accompanies the position, with potential for permanent

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related industry.
• Background in a cleanroom, hospital, or retail pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques or holding a current Aseptic Operator Qualification.
• Understanding of GMP and GDP.
• Confidence using Windows-based computer systems.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a controlled cleanroom environment using manufacturing equipment and computer systems.
• Collaborate with a team to produce high-quality medical products.
• Meet tight production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Carry out environmental monitoring activities.
• Perform routine quality checks throughout the compounding process.
• Accurately complete and manage production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices.
• Support various stages of manufacturing such as labelling, visual inspection, picking, preparation, and sanitisation.

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join Baxter’s Oxford site as Production Technicians.
