Job summary

Octagon Group is seeking a Production Technician to join its Southampton site, working across cleanroom and production environments to manufacture high-quality optical devices for science and tech markets.

You will handle wafer-scale processing, photolithography and related steps, maintaining production records and collaborating with the team to hit deadlines. Experience in optical/semiconductor cleanrooms and a UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in wafer-scale optical or semiconductor processing within a cleanroom.
• A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• A methodical approach to problem solving.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence and own transport.
