Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking a Production Technician to join an innovative advanced manufacturing team in Southampton, Hampshire, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality PPLN devices for R&D and OEM customers.

The role spans production and cleanroom environments, performing wafer-scale optical/semiconductor processing, following schedules and quality procedures, and maintaining strict health and safety standards while reporting issues to the Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in wafer-scale optical or semiconductor device processing in a cleanroom.
• Good dexterity and ability to handle small, delicate components.
• Methodical approach to problem solving and identifying issues.
• Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production processes including photolithography, sputtering, furnace processing, dicing and polishing.
• Work with small and delicate components using microscopes and precision equipment.
• Follow production schedules, procedures and quality requirements.
• Complete process logs, quality reports and other production documentation.
• Identify and report process or quality issues to the Team Leader.
• Maintain high standards of cleanroom practice and Health & Safety.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and improve processes.
