A prestigious educational institution in Scotland seeks a full-time Production Technician to support and manage technical aspects of productions. We are currently seeking to fill the position of Production Technician.
Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting a Production Technician to join on a permanent basis (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is available immediately, full-time (36.25 hours/week), with a salary of £29,226 on the ESMS Support Staff Salary Scales. The position is based across the Ravelston and Queensferry Road sites.
The Production Technician will support the Production Manager in organizing and managing all production and technical aspects of school productions and external events at the Tom Fleming Centre, Mar Hall, and The Dean.
The ideal candidate must have experience in a technical role within an arts venue, with up-to-date knowledge of technical production. Strong communication, organizational, and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and work independently and in a team. A commitment to high professional standards and ongoing professional development is required.
