Job summary

A-Gas in Portbury is seeking a Production Technician to support site operations. You will operate gas cleaning and distillation systems, gas filling lines and cylinder handling, with no night shifts and full training provided.

You will join a team focused on safe, efficient production and waste/gas operations, reporting to the Production Manager. Prior experience is not required; a positive, reliable attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment at workstations and in storage areas so as to reduce incidents/accidents and present a professional image to customers and visitors.

Production Technician

Site operational hours are between 6am and 6pm. No night shifts.

Full training provided.

What’s the purpose of this role?

You’ll be part of the site operations teams, carrying out and supporting production duties. Duties include operating custom-built gas cleaning and distillation systems, gas filling systems and cylinder handling systems. In addition you may support the smooth running of the waste, speciality and refrigerant gas operations.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing, decanting, filling, picking and dispatching of cylinders, as well as working in the waste recovery process.
