Job summary

A-Gas in Portbury is seeking a Production Technician to support site operations. You will operate gas cleaning and distillation systems, gas filling lines and cylinder handling, with no night shifts and full training provided.

You will join a team focused on safe, efficient production and waste/gas operations, reporting to the Production Manager. Prior experience is not required; a positive, reliable attitude is essential.

Qualifications

GCSE level education including Maths and English.
Good spoken level English.
Positive mindset, attitude and behaviours.
Reliable and highly conscientious.

Flexible approach required to meet production targets.
Able to understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Preparing, decanting, filling, picking and dispatching of cylinders, as well as working in the waste recovery process.
Follow all operational processes and carry out quality control checks.
Safely operate lifting gear or forklifts to move stock, as required.
Monitor production equipment and perform routine maintenance.
Maintain a safe, clean and tidy work environment at workstations and in storage areas so as to reduce incidents/accidents and present a professional image to customers and visitors.
