Job summary

Randstad RIS in Dundee is seeking a Production Technician to join the Technical Operations team. The role offers hands-on experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and is suitable for science graduates or practically minded individuals.

The position involves safely producing reagents, maintaining SOP-compliant documentation, using ERP/EDMS for data entry, and meeting daily production targets while supporting Quality Control and safety initiatives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a science graduate or a practically minded individual to gain hands-on experience in a high-standard, regulated manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Solution Manufacturing: Safely produce rare reagents, intermediates, and bulk chemical/biological solutions in strict accordance with the master schedule and established operating procedures.
• Compliance & Documentation: Adhere precisely to standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will take full accountability for maintaining accurate, high-quality documentation.
• System Logging: Utilise Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) for daily data entry and document management.
• Workload Management: Manage your daily production targets independently once assignments have been received, ensuring all tasks are delivered on time.
• Quality & Safety: Collaborate with the Quality Control team, participate in safety initiatives, perform root cause analysis (RCA) on production issues, and maintain high standards of housekeeping.

• Competitive Pay: £15.88 per hour.
• Working Schedule: 2-weekly rotating shifts (Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00 | Week 2: 14:00 - 22:00).
