You will work closely with scientists and the facilities team, ensuring inventory accuracy and proper handling of chemicals, solvents, and consumables. Full training provided and a path within CRO environment.

A new opportunity has arisen for afacilitiesTechnician to join our team inGlasgow. This role is based on-site, and the post holder will be expected to be in the office five days per week.
Reporting to theSite Operations Manager, theFacilitiesTechnicianwill play a pivotal role, working closely with the wider facilities team and scientists to ensure that our laboratories are in excellent working order, enabling our scientists to carry out their important work. They will be responsible forassisting in the maintenance ofstock levels, including that of chemicals, solvents, consumables, and department-specific supplies, ensuring inventory is up to date. This will include tracking and ordering goods, using relevant systems to manage tasks and monitoring shipments.
TheFacilitiesTechnicianwill also be responsible for the maintenance, cleaning, and basic repair ofvarious pieces of scientificequipmentensuring Health and Safety standards arealways followed.Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Technician looking to work in a niche sector, or for a high school graduate with a scientific background looking to step into a CRO environment.
