Job summary

Refresco Pontefract is seeking a Production Team Operative to join our fast-paced, state-of-the-art site, where you will help produce popular beverages and ensure quality at every step. You’ll be welcomed into a supportive team with on-the-job training and clear progression opportunities.

The role operates on a 42-hour, 3 on/3 off days and nights shift cycle, with a salary of £31,833.65 inclusive of shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Competency in Health & Safety Procedures.
• Competent at completing area/machine/equipment safety checks and reporting non-conformances.
• Competent at completing quality checks and documentation.
• Compliant with GMP and good housekeeping.
• Effective handover with oncoming team member to update on safety/quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and support machine operation, fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic maintenance.
• Complete quality checks and record results, reporting non-conformances.
• Work with the team to meet site targets and customer service goals.
• Contribute to achieving production targets and overall business goals.

About the Role –

P2 Production Team Operative

£31,833.65 inclusive of shift allowance

42 hours - Shift pattern of 3 on 3 off days and nights

As a Production Team Operative you will be part of a supportive team, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around, and show you the ropes.

Your main tasks and duties will be –

• Operating equipment/machinery and supporting the operation of equipment/machinery undertaking fault finding, changeovers, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
• Complete quality checks and record results, reporting any non-conformances.
• Work as part of a team to ensure site achieves targets and customer service.
• Contribute to meeting team and company-wide production targets, which make a real difference to our business and our customers.

About you –

For the role of a Supply Advanced Production Team Operative we are looking for:

• Competency in Health & Safety Procedures.
• Competent at completing area/machine/equipment safety checks, immediately reporting any non-conformances, accidents, near misses or food safety concerns to supervisors and suggest corrective actions.
• Competent at completing quality checks and documentation.
• Compliant with GMP and good housekeeping.
• Completes effective handover with oncoming team member to provide an update on any safety, quality, people, delivery or cost issues arisen during working hours.

Whilst the above is desirable you do not need previous experience as full training will be provided.

You will be part of a supportive team, led by Production Shift Manager, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.
