Job summary

Refresco is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader at our Kegworth site. You will lead a busy warehouse team and drive performance in returns, FIFO, cycle counts and audits to ensure on-time fulfilment and quality.

You will work with the Site Supply Leadership Team to uphold safety, quality, and cost standards. You will develop team capabilities, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and lead Lean activities such as short interval control and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of up to twenty in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Experience driving MHE; in-house training provided.
• Experience operating WMS systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance of returns, FIFO ingredients, pallet rotation, cycle count, audits.
• Audit monitoring systems for compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Manage non-conformance processes and corrective actions.
• Complete traceability exercises and support internal audits and new product trials.
• Motivate and manage people to meet team targets and develop skills.
• Lead Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including short interval control and root cause analysis.
• Be a key member of the Site Supply Leadership Team and support other teams as needed.
• Lead delivery of KPIs for Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost Standards.
• Identify areas for continuous improvement in production environments and equipment.
• Demonstrate willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.

About the Role

You will be part of a supportive team, led by theWarehouse Shift Managerworking with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.

As aWarehouse Team Leaderyour main tasks and duties will be:

• Driving the performance of the returns process/FIFO ingredients/pallet rotation, cycle count processes and audits. Automating equipment, data and function to minimise impact on supply requirements or OEE performance and customer service levels attainment.
• Auditing all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
• Managing non-conformance processes and corrective action activities to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
• Competent at completing traceability exercises and supporting role in internal audit activities and new product trials.
• Motivate and manage people activities to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards. Identify development areas relating to skills, behaviours and competencies and implementing team development plans.
• Participation in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
• Working as a key member of the Site Supply Leadership Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
• Leading the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
• Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems.
• Demonstrating a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.

Reward and Benefits

You will be paid an annual base salary of £36,240.38, in addition to 10% shift allowance, which as an annual salary is £39,864.42. Your shift pattern will be 3 on 3 off, rotating days and nights, from 6 to 6. For the role ofWarehouse Team Leader,you will need experience supervising a team of around up to twenty people within a busy manufacturing business, as well as experience driving MHE, however, in-house MHE training is provided. It is also an advantage if you have previous experience operating WMS systems such as SAP.
