Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Dunkeswell, near Honiton, Devon.
You will play a key role in leading a production team, ensuring operational targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Please note: Due to the location, applicants must have their own transport.
What We Offer
- £17.50 per hour for the first 38 hours worked.
- £26.25 per hour overtime after 38 hours.
- £35.00 per hour Sunday overtime.
- Day shifts.
- Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm.
- 4-day working week.
- One fixed weekday off each week on a rota.
- Every weekend off, with Sunday overtime available if required.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of Production Operatives.
- Ensure daily production targets and customer requirements are achieved.
- Organise workloads and allocate tasks effectively.
- Monitor production processes to maximise output and minimise downtime.
- Maintain high standards of product quality and accuracy.
- Complete production paperwork and computer-based records.
- Promote and maintain excellent health and safety standards.
- Support the training, coaching, and development of team members.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist with resolving production issues.
- Encourage teamwork, communication, and a positive working environment.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Shift Leader, Senior Operator, or Senior Production Operative.
- Experience within a manufacturing, production, FMCG, food production, or factory environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to organise workloads and prioritise tasks.
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving ability.
- Understanding of health and safety, quality standards, and production processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Own transport essential due to the location.
