Job summary

manucomm recruitment in Bristol is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader for a permanent night shift (10pm–6am). You’ll develop from a Senior Operator or Line Leader into a frontline leader responsible for running the shift and hitting output, quality and safety targets.

You’ll deputise for the Night Shift Team Leader, collaborate with Engineering to minimise downtime, and drive training and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Progression from Senior Operator, Line Leader or Supervisor.
• Hands-on leadership and problem-solving skills.
• FLT licence (Bendi or counterbalance) desirable.
• Comfortable working independently on night shifts.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Production Operative, Line Leader or Supervisor ready to develop into a Team Leader with a growing food manufacturing business in Bristol.

Working alongside the Night Shift Team Leader, you’ll help run the shift, support the production team and ensure targets for output, quality and safety are achieved.You’ll also have opportunities to deputise for the Team Leader and gain experience across the wider operation.

Production Team Leader Key Responsibilities

• Support and deputise for the Night Shift Team Leader.
• Lead and motivate the production team to achieve production targets.
• Provide Team Leader cover during holidays and absence.
• Work with Engineering to resolve machinery issues and minimise downtime.

About You

• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment.
• Previous experience as a Senior Operator, Line Leader, Supervisor or Team Leader.
• A hands-on approach with good leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical, engineering or fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
• FLT licence (Bendi or counterbalance) desirable.
• Reliable and comfortable working independently on night shifts.
