Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Production Team Leader for our Hull manufacturing facility. You will oversee a rotating 3-shift system, coach a high-performing team, and ensure targets are met safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires strong leadership, experience managing KPIs, excellent organisation and communication, and the ability to work across warehouse, engineering and planning teams to drive productivity and continuous improvement.

Production Team Leader - Manufacturing Facility (Hull)

Shift Pattern: Rotating 3-shift system (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am)

Location: Hull

Salary: £15.84 - £16.84 per hour

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Team Leader to join our dynamic manufacturing operation in Hull. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing production teams, ensuring targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards across a rotating shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing production team to meet daily operational targets.
• Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring output, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently achieved.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively to maximise productivity.
• Ensure products are manufactured in line with customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure compliance with site procedures.
• Liaise with other departments including warehouse, engineering, and planning teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency across the production area.
• Complete production reporting and communicate shift performance to management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
• Experience managing production KPIs, quality standards, and productivity targets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Flexible to work across a rotating shift pattern.
