Job summary

Genuit Group is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee the Production Department at our site in the UK. You will ensure safe, efficient operations by allocating labour and resources to meet daily plans and customer demand, while coordinating shift handovers and meetings.

The role requires experience leading a team in manufacturing, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work 2 days (07:00-19:00) and 2 nights (19:00-07:00) with 4 days off.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
• Experience leading a team is essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic administrative tasks.
• Understanding of business processes and operations.
• Accurate paperwork and record-keeping.
• Organised and able to manage own workload effectively.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a production environment.
• Willingness and ability to work shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the Production Department.
• Allocate labour and resources to meet the daily production plan and customer demand.
• Conduct shift handovers and run daily kick-start meetings.
• Monitor machines and operators for safety, quality and production standards.
• Ensure accurate production monitoring, reports and documentation.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and support risk assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement using lean tools and maintain housekeeping.
• Deliver training and develop team capability through reviews and training opportunities.
• Provide performance feedback and support employee development.
