Job summary

Bristol Industrial is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a production team on shift at our Bridgwater site. You will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of production lines, leading up to 10 colleagues and driving KPI performance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will support changeovers, asset care, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing the team through training and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a production team in an FMCG environment.
• Able to manage a team of up to 10 and achieve KPIs.
• Experience with shift patterns such as 4-on/4-off is beneficial.
• Proven ability to train, develop, and conduct performance reviews.
• Strong problem-solving and asset care awareness in a fast-paced setting.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK based in Bridgwater (TA6).

• Salary £41,528.45pa (basic £37,753.13 and shift premium of £3,775.32)
• 4 on 4 off Shift pattern – Rotating Days and Nights – 06:30 to 18:30 & 18:30 to 06:30
• Permanent role and working on average 42 hours per week

As a Team Lead within a FMCG environment, you will be a key leader on the production floor, directly responsible for a team of up to 10. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of production lines and processes. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role where you will manage shift resources, deliver on KPIs, and motivate your team to achieve production targets.

You will support changeovers and asset care activities, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. A large part of your role will involve people management, including conducting training, performance reviews, and development plans to ensure your team is skilled and engaged.

We are looking for a confident leader with strong people management skills and solid technical awareness of manufacturing equipment and exceptionalpeople leadership skills. You will be a decisive problem‑solver, comfortable working in a dynamic environment to ensure production plans are delivered in full.

Ideally you will be an experienced team leader with at least 1 years’ experience or a skilled operative with step up experiencelooking to advancetheir career.
