JDR Recruitment is assisting a well established international client to recruit a Production Team Leader for their site in Preston South. The role is to lead and develop the production team, ensuring safe, efficient operations and meeting output targets.

You will coach teams, drive continuous improvement, ensure quality documentation, and collaborate with engineering and operations. A strong background in manufacturing leadership and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing/production teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the day to day operation of the production area.
• Ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of plant, equipment and processes.
• Drive production performance to achieve quality, output and delivery targets.
• Support training and development of team members to build capability and flexibility.
• Work collaboratively with technical, engineering and operational teams.
• Lead problem-solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure completion of production, quality and process documentation to required standards.
