Job summary

The Production Team Leader role at M-Tec Engineering Solutions is based in Warwickshire, leading a high‑volume manufacturing operation with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. You will manage daily team activities and drive performance across the Production department.

Ideal candidates will have proven Production Team Leader experience and NVQ Level 3 in Manufacturing, with a track record of coaching teams, implementing autonomous maintenance, and using CI tools to resolve

Qualifications

• Proven Production Team Leader experience is required or highly desirable.
• NVQ Level 3 in Manufacturing is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety of employees and processes – PPE auditing, LOTO, COSHH.
• Ensure quality sign‑off and build competence and confidence of technical skills.
• Lead teams and deliver daily meetings, supporting escalation when required.
• Problem‑solve to seek root cause for downtime or quality issues using CI tools.
• Deliver the autonomous maintenance schedule.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team, addressing TA issues, Return to Work and recognising high performers.
• Lead investigations, resolve grievances, monitor absenteeism and take appropriate action.
• Promote the company's HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all health and safety environmental requirements.
