Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead the production team during shift to achieve planned output, quality, safety and efficiency targets.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules, GMP, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Organise labour across the production area to meet requirements.
• Monitor line performance, downtime, waste, quality concerns and escalate as needed.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, sanitations and line checks.
• Coach and develop team members to build capability and engagement.
• Complete clear shift handovers for next shift and leadership team.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying losses and supporting root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, EHS and other functions to maintain flow.
• Ensure production records are completed accurately and on time.
• Support investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering key operational KPIs across Safety, Quality, and Tonnage, while ensuring smooth day-to-day production flow, strong shift handovers, and clear team communication.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will coordinate people, processes, and systems to keep operations running safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
