Job summary

Pertemps Swindon is recruiting a Production Team Leader to join a medical manufacturing client in Swindon, SN3. The role is a temporary assignment with £16.83 per hour, working 8.30–17.00, Monday to Friday. You will lead daily output and ensure products meet specifications.

You will drive performance, manage quality inspections, coordinate with warehouse activities and uphold GMP and cGMP standards.

Qualifications

• Proven recent experience within production Team Leader position.
• Background within a medical or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of cGMP.
• Process driven with excellent attention to detail as well as a good motivator.
• Hands on to drive performance and deliver daily targets.

Responsibilities

• Hands on support, Leading and Reporting the daily output and performance for manufacturing processes.
• Supporting the daily build targets while ensuring products are manufactured to required specification.
• Identify issues and understand root cause analysis, advise on or act on an effective in-house solution.
• Fully understands the quality aspects for each product and ensures inspection is carried out prior to packaging.
• Movement of product, packing and labelling, ensuring lot numbers and expiry dates are correct; collaborate with warehouse activity to ensure smooth operations.
• Work to GMP requirements, can advise others and keep all necessary records up to date (compliance, training achievements, absence levels).
