Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc.’s Wakefield facility is seeking a forklift operator to support production in a fast-paced setting. You will assist with training, assign tasks, monitor lines for quality, and help maintain safe, compliant operations.

The role demands reading and following SOPs, using SAP for daily paperwork, and occasional overtime. Prior forklift experience and basic computer skills are preferred; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; overtime/weekends may be required.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel/Word) and ability to read English documents.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred; forklift license desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist training processing and production personnel in the department.
• Assign work tasks to department personnel and monitor lines for quality.
• Maintain safety audits, proper paperwork, and use SAP/PEB as needed.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Support maintenance reporting and drive continuous productivity improvements.
