Job summary

Stonegate is seeking a Production Team Leader for our Egg Innovation Centre in Lacock, United Kingdom. The role is hands-on and leads the day-to-day operation of a production line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient output.

You will guide a team, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and compliance. The position operates on a 06:00am–18:00pm shift with a 4on/4off pattern.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising a production team.
• Experience delivering production targets and KPIs.
• Ability to perform basic fault-finding on production equipment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Calm and effective under pressure.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily operation of the production line, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Ensure scheduled production orders align with the production plan.
• Set up equipment and perform basic fault-finding to minimise downtime.
• Lead the team, driving performance against KPIs and targets.
• Monitor KPIs: plan adherence, waste, downtime, quality and efficiency.
• Identify corrective actions for non-conformances and ensure audit-ready documentation.
