Job summary

Dale Farm is seeking a Production Team Leader to supervise the cheese cutting and packing lines, driving efficiency, quality and safety to meet customer requirements.

You will lead operatives, coordinate with engineering, monitor KPIs and ensure waste is controlled. The role runs Monday to Friday with two-week rotating shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm, with occasional 5am line setups.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG.
• Minimum of 12 months experience of leading and managing a team.
• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Awareness of health and safety responsibilities in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cheese process to maximise output and target performance.
• Operate machinery and complete quality checks with paperwork.
• Deliver area KPI’s, support projects and meet PIP targets.
• Manage operatives to ensure good performance and monitor waste.
• Collaborate with engineering to reduce downtime and boost efficiency.
