Job summary

The Focusrite Group is offering a 12-month Production Systems Developer Placement in High Wycombe, full-time. You’ll join the PSD Team to develop bespoke test systems for overseas factories manufacturing audio interfaces, MIDI controllers and synths.

You’ll work in an agile, multi-functional design & engineering environment, helping improve production processes and tools while supporting new product introduction from design through mass production. Salary £26,250 p.a.

Qualifications

• Competent coding skills in Python (Asyncio, Django, Pandas, Crossbar.io).
• Good understanding of audio electronics and measurement methods.
• Commitment to continual improvement within a cross-functional team.
• Excellent design, debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Develop factory tests for new products using in-house tools and architecture.
• Contribute to new product introduction from design to mass production.
• Support PCBA and Final Assembly strategies for new products.
• Implement automated functional test procedures and systems.
• Explore new areas for functional testing (robotics) and quality inspection.
• Provide remote technical support to factory engineers overseas.
