Job summary

AkzoNobel, a global leader in paints and coatings, is hiring a Production Support Operator for its Felling site. You will ensure materials are available to support production targets, follow SOPs, and contribute to safety, environment, and quality improvements.

The role requires adapting to day and night shift patterns and adhering to manufacturing procedures to maintain high standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and environment (HSE).
• Ability to operate forklift trucks and load/unload vehicles.
• Willingness to work day and night shifts.

Job Title: Production Support Operator
Location: Felling
Shifts: Days/nights
Days: Monday-Thursday: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm
Friday: 6am-12pm or 2pm-6pm

Nights: Sunday: 12 midnight-6am
Monday-Friday: 10pm-6am (Friday finish)
Pay: Paid hourly at 38 hours per standard working week + shift Allowance

• £26,928.82 (6 months)
• £29,577.88 (12 Months)
• £31,570.63
• £10,611.69 (Constant Night)
• £5,310.00 (Alternating Double Day)

About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our highly flexible and skilled team at an international manufacturing plant in Felling. As a Production Support Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our manufacturing team has all the materials needed to achieve production performance targets. You'll follow standard operating procedures and use continuous improvement methodologies to enhance performance in Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality.
