Job summary

Situations Vacant Ltd in Salisbury, Wiltshire, seeks a Production Supervisor/Team Leader to ensure the production schedule is met in a busy factory. You will lead a production team, allocate operators and welders to daily jobs and monitor performance against work instructions.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will participate in production/management meetings, manage works orders in the MRP system, maintain inventory discipline and ensure HS&E compliance.

Qualifications

• FLT experience an advantage.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Team Leader and has responsibility to ensure that the production schedule is achieved on time in a busy factory environment. Typical tasks include:

• Participation in production / management meetings
• Allocation of operators / welders to their daily jobs in line with production requirements
• Issuing and closing of works orders on the MRP system
