Job Description
Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) is seeking a Repairs Supervisor to join our Service Centre. The Service Centre is responsible for repairing, modifying, and testing a wide range of products and systems, providing innovative solutions for our customers.
Job Purpose:
- Manage and lead a repairs team.
- Oversee holidays, sickness, timekeeping, and discipline to ensure continuous production.
- Collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to deliver monthly plans.
- Monitor team performance using KPIs.
- Manage labour bookings and review them regularly.
- Hold daily team meetings to review progress and address issues.
- Assist in creating shop order paperwork, including route cards.
- Close completed shop orders and manage stock movements.
- Support quality issues, triage, MRBs, and related paperwork.
- Scan completed paperwork into the company's MRP system.
- Maintain a 6S and FOD program within the team.
- Identify skills gaps and maintain a skills matrix.
- Coordinate with support teams to manage non-conforming materials and repair issues.
- Ensure safe use of equipment and machinery.
- Justify overtime in advance to the Service Centre Manager.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role leading a small team.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
