Job summary

Magnet Applications, a specialist division of Bunting Magnetics, seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing, assembly and warehouse stock control at Berkhamsted. You will manage daily production operations, ensure schedules are met, and lead a skilled team while supporting the General Manager and QSHE Manager.

This role emphasizes lean manufacturing, quality control, safety, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance and warehousing to optimise end-to-end

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with leadership or management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments involving component assembly.
• Knowledge of facilities management, warehouse operations, and stock control.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to learn EPICOR management system.
• Strong leadership, organisation, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and ensure schedules are met.
• Supervise technical assembly activities and uphold quality standards.
• Implement and uphold production standards, procedures, and quality controls.
• Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for decision-making.
• Manage facilities, maintenance, and safety compliance at the Berkhamsted site.
• Lead production team leaders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with warehouse, maintenance and QSHE teams.
