Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor who will be responsible and accountable for achieving the required output to ensure that orders are delivered to customers on time in full, that quality standards are maintained; ensuring that operators work safely and that all issues are communicated in a timely manner to production and sales management.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate all manufacturing processes.
• Ensuring that all staff are adequately trained to complete tasks on time and safely.
• Liaise with Production manager and Operations manager to ensure that the production plan and order schedules are updated and communicated.
• Ensuring that product quality is maintained through the adherence of operating procedures.
• Ensuring that staff are adhering to health and safety guidelines and legislation.
• Responsible for helping to monitor stock levels and that stock levels allow timely manufacture of product.
• Monitor staff timekeeping and report any HR issues that arise.

Objectives

• To maintain an agreed standard lead time
• Deliver a target OTIF level.
• Minimise stock losses and achieve this through timely stock checks and annual stock counts.
• Minimise risk of accident through the review of risk assessment and investigation of any accidents that occur.

Experience

• People management
• Knowledge and experience of working with ERP system.
• P.C literate with competency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Health and Safety management. IOSH Managing Safety (Ideal).
