Fixed Term Contract - Nights, Mon-Sat (10pm - 4am)

We currently have a new and rewarding opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join us for our busy Summer period. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production process, leading by example and supporting production operators at all levels to ensure effective and efficient operations. With excellent communication and problem solving skills, the Production Supervisor will oversee all production line activities, ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety protocols are followed. Duties and responsibilities also include managing the blade sharpeners, yard team and liaison with lorry drivers coming onto site.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership and communication skills in a very dynamic environment with all necessary training provided.

Key responsibilities include:

• To ensure delivery of customer requirements & specifications
• Supervising and coordinating the production activities
• Assisting with change overs and efficient blade replacements as required
• Monitoring and ensuring production targets are met
• Leading and motivating the production and associated yard teams
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Traceability Management
• Implementing and maintaining quality standards

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• Prior experience in a production supervisory role
• Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a team
• Knowledge of Health & Safety & Food Safety regulations
