Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Bury St Edmunds. This role is ideal for an experienced team leader or supervisor with a strong background in production and a passion for driving performance and quality on the shop floor.

The Production Supervisor will ideally have the following attributes:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Ability to monitor and drive KPIs, quality targets, and health & safety standards
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles is desirable

The Production Supervisor role will involve:

• Overseeing daily production activities and ensuring output targets are met
• Managing and supporting a team of operators and technicians
• Monitoring product quality, workflow, and equipment utilisation
• Driving a strong culture of health & safety, quality, and productivity
